MATURITA'

§ To the foreign friends this image can mean nothing but for Italians it does !
This is the normal appereance of an Italian High School during the finals exams which are called Maturità.

Yes, we, let me share it with my son, are under final exams and I cannot wait that everything is over.

I cannot wait... but try to imagine how he feels !?!

Well, in Germany it's called "Abitur" (and I'm glad that this kind of exams are a far away memory in my life) but I know in Austria they call it "Matura", too. Fingers crosed for Matteo!!!

I remember those exams only too well, although many, many years ago, LOL. At least it is in pleasant surroundings. I hope he does well also. The final exams of high school used to be called Matriculation here in Australia, now Higher School Certificate, or HSC, the stepping stone to university or other.

Same here for Shir, Ro. Qesh (her middle girl) is having her entrance (to secondary school) exam this year. It's really like her taking the exams too.

I was just thinking how our blogs are slowly transformed from about minis to real life...lol
